Cenves is a small town
on the border of two regions (southern Burgundy and northern Rhone-Alpes Auvergne) in the upper Beaujolais with the vines at its feet.
Near the A6 motorway, Macon Sud (exit 29), the TGV train station (Macon Loché), it is accessible and so the medium mountain welcomes you.
The municipality is composed of a main village where our cookers Sabine and jean will make you taste both local dishes and dishes of the South-West (Region of where they came recently).
Local specialties and especially goat cheese await you at “home cheese”. This cheese made the reputation of Cenves and there were up to 1000 goats in the different farms of the municipality.
You can also stay several days in our beautiful site by settling in one of our 3 lodgings and to taste the pleasure of the hike. The staff of the town hall will be able to tell you the different paths you can use.
The town is surrounded by small peaks (Siberia, Gerbet, Carcan …) with views of the Saone Valley, Roche de Solutré and panoramic maps (Rontecolon, Mère Boitier)
